Rose Lee Manning, 67, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at her residence.
Rose Lee was born in Richmond, Indiana on October 3, 1941, daughter of the late Grover William and Isabelle Hays Coleman. Rose Lee was employed at RCA in Cincinnati, Ohio before returning to Kentucky. She was later employed at Rexnord, Cowden's and E.D. Bullard's. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed genealogy research and family history.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jesse Waco Manning of Waynesburg, two sons, Robbie & (Frances) Manning of Waynesburg and Kenneth & (Diane) Manning of Frankfort, KY, one daughter, Phyllis & (Woodie) Spencer of Waynesburg, four grandsons, Bryan & (Wendy) Manning of Lexington, KY, Richard Manning of Waynesburg, Jesse Wayne Manning of McKinney, KY and Christian Earl Manning of Frankfort, two granddaughters, Kayla Noel Spencer of Waynesburg and Kristy Clerston of Danville, two step grandchildren, Lotheda and David Orasis of Frankfort, two great-grandsons and several nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jesse William Manning in 1965 and Danny Wayne Manning in October 2001, one brother, Ronald Coleman and one sister, Nora Joan Coleman Durham.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, June 5, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Shepherd officiating.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
