James C. Glover, 70, of Old Waynesburg Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born in Drum, Kentucky on October 22, 1938, son of the late Alonzo Clarence and Thelma Mae Phelps Glover. He was a retired factory worker for Crane and a member of Huffaker Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Lamona K. Wells Glover of Eubank, three sons, James William & (Freda) Glover and John Morris & Brenda) Glover, both of Somerset and James Charles & (Darlene) of Eubank, two daughters, Mary Catherine Viars of Somerset and Lola Kathryn Oliver of Science Hill, step daughter, Vicky & (Phillip) Grundy of Somerset, one brother, Hubert Glover of Mt. Vernon, one sister, Myrtle Wesley of Science Hill, sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Debra Ann Early, one sister, Barbara Mize and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 12, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
