Sylvia Hodge

Sylvia Hodge, 72, of Bullock Lane in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on November 19, 1936, daughter of the late S.C. and Bertha Wheeler Wesley. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Michael Hodge and Dewayne & (Jean) Hodge, both of Eubank, four daughters, Reda Ping of Somerset, Shelia & (Dormas) Bullock of Eubank, Marilyn & (Ronnie) Foley of Louisville, KY and Letha & Wayne) Woodall of Somerset, four sisters, Betty Holbrook, Dora Hall and Thelma Haste, all of Indiana and Jane Wesley of Science Hill, twenty two grandchildren, forty four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hodge, one daughter, Brenda Berry, two brothers, Oscar Wesley and Herman Wesley and four sisters, Gladys Wesley, Ruth Sneed, Kathleen Shubert and Evelyn Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Carson Atwood officiating. Burial will be in Lizard Lope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
