Seaman James L. Bennett, III

Seaman James L. Bennett, III, formerly of Corbin, Kentucky and El Campo, Texas passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 4, 1997, son of James L. Bennett Jr. and Christina Dawn Dalton. He had graduated boot camp December 15, 2015 in Great Lakes, IL and was in initial ACCESSION training at Naval Air Station Pensacola-Corry Station in Pensacola, Florida. He is survived by his parents, Jimmy Dale and Christina Dawn Dalton of El Campo, TX, one brother, Kenneth Lee Bennett of El Campo, TX, maternal grandmother, Peggy E. Miller of El Campo, TX and paternal grandparents, Bill and Eugene Riley of Mintonville, KY. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
