Jimmie Lee Lawson

Jimmie Lee Lawson, 65, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Alonzo and Mae Sims Lawson. He was a Baptist minister. He is survived by his wife, Linda Martin Lawson of Eubank, two children, Robin Lawless of Eubank and LeeAnn & (Clay) Lawson Carroll of Somerset, two grandchildren, Jordan Carroll and Katie & (Beau) Spurgeon, two great-grandchildren, Remy Spurgeon and Killian Spurgeon (soon to arrive) and one sister, Charlotte & (Vernon) Doan of Mt. Vernon, KY. He was loved by many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Danny Lawson and Kenneth Lawson and twin grandsons, Jaden and Jermey Carroll. Visitation will be after 7 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 8 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Doan officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
