Dorothy Mae Cook

Dorothy Mae Eubank Cook, 93, of East Highway 452 in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Rockcastle Hospital. She was born in Goochtown, Kentucky on July 22, 1915, daughter of the late Wilmer M. and Lura Griffin Eubank. She was a homemaker and a member of Estesburg Church of Christ. She loved and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and traveling with Leslie. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Cook of Eubank, two sons, Roger Lee & (Marilyn) Cook of Lexington, KY and David Wayne & (Angie) Cook of Eubank, one daughter, Sharon K. & (Jimmy) Wheeldon of Eubank, seven grandchildren, Chris & (Jennifer) Cook, Gayla Cook, Martin & (Jill) Wheeldon, Bradley & (Julia) Wheeldon, Lisa Anderson, Emily Cook and Matt & (Tara) Cook, two step grandchildren, Scott Lewis and Leann Baker, five great-grandchildren, Lucas Wheeldon, Caleb Wheeldon, Dekker Wheeldon, Skye Anderson and Eaden Cook and four step great-grandchildren, Linzey, Cody, Kenneth and Briceton. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Boyd Lee Eubank and one who died in infancy. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds and Bro. Rick Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would live to give a special thanks to the staff at Rockcastle Hospital.
