Don T. Fisher, son of the late William S. and Mary Deutsch Fisher, was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 17, 1931 and departed this life on April 15, 2006 at the age of 74 years.
He was a farmer and machine repairman for G.E. Corporation and Rockwell. He grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Carol Parris Fisher of Science Hill, whom he married on December 26, 1975 in Frankfort, Kentucky, a son, Joey Fisher of Science Hill, two daughters, Ginger K. Ray and Kim Smith both of Knoxville, a brother, Billy Fisher of Florida, five grandchildren, Jeffrey Fisher, Nick Ray, Zack Smith, Rachel Smith and Mykenzie Fisher and a great-grandchild, Preston Fisher. He is also survived by his loving nephew, Davie Cooper and special nieces and nephews, Denise Walker, Kendra Fisher, Michelle Batteiger, Dwight Fisher and Keith Fisher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael L. Fisher, a daughter, Donna K. Fisher and a sister, Teresa T. Cooper.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Albert McKinney and Bro. Dave Muse officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday.
