Barbara Jean Martin

Barbara Jean Martin, 79, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Houston, Texas on March 23, 1937, daughter of the late Clifford Phillips and Lucille Ross Phillips. She was a employee of Intercraft. She is survived by three sons, Richard & (Donna) Martin of Cincinnati, OH, Roger & (Carol) Martin of Salisbury, NC and Robert Martin of Eubank, one sister, Alvonda James of Rowlett, TX, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Martin, whom she married on November 9, 1954 and who died on March 14, 2016, her parents and two sons, Ronald Martin and Randall Martin. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Valley Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
