Cindy Thurman Bell

Cindy Thurman Bell, 41, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on November 24, 1974, daughter of Gary and Gladys Wesley Thurman. She was a clinical supervisor for Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Science Hill. Cindy is survived by her husband, Kurtis Bell, one son, Kyle Andrew Bell, one daughter, Kennedy Brooke Bell, her parents, Gary and Gladys Thurman, one sister, Denise King and maternal grandmother, Mary Catherine Wesley, all of Science Hill. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Howard and Mary Bell, maternal grandfather, Claude Wesley and paternal grandparents, William "Bud" and Louise Thurman. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
