Teresa Bloomer Rutherford

Teresa Bloomer Rutherford, daughter of the late Walter and Lola McGahan Bloomer, was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on May 6, 1923 and departed this life on April 17, 2006 at the age of 82 years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by two daughters, Lois Rose of Springboro, Ohio and Carolyn Berry of St. George, Utah, a brother, Jack Bloomer of Knoxville, Tennessee, four sisters, Mildred Taylor of Corbin, Norma Towe of Dayton, Ohio, Margaret Rowe of Clarksville, Tennessee and Ann Cox of Dayton, Ohio, four grandchildren, Marc Rose, Michelle Rose, Jerry Patterson and Jay Patterson and two great-grandchildren, Nova Setterbo and Shelby Patterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Rutherford, her parents and a brother, Clarence Bloomer. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 21, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Berry officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Thursday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
