Donald G. Burton

Mr. Donald G. Burton, 71, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. He was born on February 25, 1945 in Lexington, Kentucky; son of the late Mat & Ordana Bumgardner Burton. He was a Welder & Fabricator for Jordan's Service Co. He is survived by his wife Velma Burton of Somerset; one son, Donald Scott Burton of Pekin, IN; two daughters, Karen & (David) Kinley of Pekin, IN, and Matha J. Dunn of Palmyra, IN; five grandchildren, Xavier G. Burton, David Scott Kinley, Christopher Donald Liuzzi, Amanda & (Brian) Owens, and Karie Starnes; and one great-grandson, Ricky David Yates; and numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, October 14, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Taylor and Bro. Jesse McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Burton Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Donald Burton will be after 6 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
