Owen C. Bunch

Owen C. Bunch, 53, of Hall Street in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Bronston, Kentucky on September 6, 1955, son of the late James Arthur and Virginia Ann Carrender Bunch. He was a former employee of Kingsford Charcoal and Lakeview Restaurant. He is survived by one brother, David Bunch Flynn of Burnside, three sisters, Ruby & (William) Sullivan of Burnside, Alice Nelson of Somerset and Ruth Bunch of Mt. Vernon, nieces, Allison Angel of Somerset, Debbie Cook of Frazier and Paula Carrender Bunch of Monticello, nephews, Jeremy & (Melinda) Jones of Somerset, Jason Sullivan of Burnside, Jonathon Nelson of Somerset, Brad Neal of Somerset and Austin McFerron of Somerset and longtime companion, Dorothy Turner of Science Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Kenneth Bunch, J. Thomas Bunch and Arnold L. Bunch and two sisters, Francie L. Bunch and Georgie M. Bunch. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Blake Penson officiating. Burial will be in Burnside Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Owen C. Bunch Memorial Fund. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
