Troy C. Keith

Troy C. Keith, 82, of Old Somerset Stanford Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on December 24, 1926, son of the late Cordus and Melvina Correll Keith. He was a farmer and a truck driver for Perdue Trucking. He was a member of Floyd Switch Baptist Church and attended Pulaski Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Patrick Keith, whom he married on June 28, 1947, one son, Travis Keith of North Carolina and two grandchildren, Rachael and Samantha. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Anthony Keith, three brothers, Jimmy Keith, Litton Keith and Denver Keith and two sisters, Vesta Greer and Dorothy C. "Dot" Dungan. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gary New officiating with military honors by American Legion Post #38. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
