Charles Ray Weddle

Charles Ray Weddle, 81, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. He was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on October 31, 1934, son of the late John Morris and Thelma Aileen Wesley Weddle. He was a farmer and attended Jacksonville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ora M. Barber Weddle of Science Hill, two daughters, Deborah Ann & (Michael) Partin of Bowling Green, KY and Sheila Rae & (Joseph) Tarter of Bracken County, KY, one brother, Paul Weddle of Science Hill, five sisters, Maxine Hendricks of Science Hill, Wanda Wesley of Cincinnati, OH, Linda Bost of Poplar Bluff, MO, Betty Sue Mofield of King Bee, KY and Juda Godbey of the Wheeldon community, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gregory Allen Weddle, one brother, Floyd D. Weddle, one sister, Lenora McClain and one grandson, Christopher Partin. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 24, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with a masonic service at 7 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Jacksonville Baptist Church building fund or the Sardis Cemetery fund. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
