Jerry Vernon Caldwell

Jerry Vernon Caldwell, 69, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. He was born in Casey County, Kentucky on August 19, 1947, son of Millie Salyers Caldwell and the late Chester Arthur Caldwell. He was a farm hand. He is survived by his mother, Millie Salyers Caldwell, one son, Darren Caldwell of Eubank, one daughter, April & (Geary) Bailey of Waynesburg, four brothers, Melvin & (Brenda) Caldwell of Eubank, Jimmy & (LouAnn) Caldwell of Russell Springs, KY, Paul & (Shirley) Caldwell of Casey County, KY and Timmy & (Malisa) Caldwell of Science Hill, four sisters, Dorothy Foley of Eubank, Edith & (Marvin) Smith of Jasper, IN, Louise & (John) Walls of Science Hill and Deva & (John) Swartz of Eubank, two grandchildren, Amadea Bailey and Bryon Dale Bailey and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Marlene Gregory Caldwell, his father and one son, Bryan Caldwell. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, October 24, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Caldwell and Timmy Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in West Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Jerry Vernon Caldwell Memorial Fund, c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
