Arnold Wells

Arnold Wells, 87, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016. He was born in Smilax, Kentucky on April 10, 1929, son of the late Harrison and Martha Engle Wells. He was a carpenter and retired from Cumberland Wood & Chair. He was a member of Etna Church of Christ. He is survived by three sons, David Wells & (Jean Kardeen-Wells) and Daniel Wells & (Kathy), both of Somerset and Duane Arnold Wells of Bronston, two brothers, Harrison Wells, Jr. of Science Hill and Elmer Wells of West Chester, OH, three sisters, Bessie Williams and Mary Ellen Clark, both of Science Hill and Ann Childers of Appling, GA, four grandchildren, Danielle, Shannon, Brian and Cody and four great-grandchildren, Paige, Ivy, Jazmine and Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Chester Wells, Dennis Wells, Elbert Wells and Ray Wells and two sisters, Mable Lawson and Evelyn Brooks. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
