Clara Roselle McQueen, 70, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Liberty, Kentucky on October 10, 1946, daughter of the late Calvin "Tad" and Esther Garner Black. She retired from Pulaski County Fiscal Court, where she served as the Occupational Tax Administrator. She was a member of Eubank Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Casey County High School and Fugazzi College of Business with an associates degree. Clara loved life and encouraged everyone to do the same. She loved to laugh and very rarely did you see her that she wasn't smiling. Everyone that knew her loved her. She loved her family with all her heart and soul and she will be forever missed.
She is survived by her husband, Jim McQueen of Eubank, two daughters, Alisa & (Buddie) Slone of Lincoln County, KY and Marissa Vanhook of Pulaski County, one sister, Mildred Ross of Washington State, three grandchildren, Dylan Slone, Kristen Nell "Sissy" Slone and Tad Vanhook and two special friends, Jewell Eubank and Linda Goldson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Travis Black and Sherrel Black and one sister, Margie McCoy.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 PM to 9 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
