Susan Marie Ledbetter

Susan Marie Ledbetter, 38, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 7, 1978, daughter of Lewis "Ed" Johnson and Linda Scott Janney. She was a 1996 graduate of Delta High School in Muncie, Indiana and an employee of Columbia Walmart as a Bakery Department Manager. She is survived by her husband, Scott Ledbetter, whom she married on June 17, 2004, her mother and step father, Linda and Jack Janney, father and step mother, Lewis "Ed" and Julie Johnson, all of Indiana, one daughter, Abbi Ledbetter of Nancy, three step sons, Jordan Walker, Jared & (Ashley) Ledbetter and Jacob Ledbetter, all of Indiana, one sister, Michelle & (Randy)Cunningham, one brother, Marc & (Kresta) Johnson, maternal grandfather, James "Ted" Scott, all of Indiana, father-in-law, Lowell & (Linda) Ledbetter, step father-in-law, Delbert Taylor, brother-in-law, Josh & (Crystal) Ledbetter, all of Kentucky and sisters-in-law, Michelle Lehman of Kentucky, Missy & (Dennis) Kidd of Tennessee and Amanda Taylor of Indiana. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth "Shane" Ledbetter, maternal grandmother, Juanita Scott, paternal grandparents, John and Carol Johnson and mother-in-law, Pat Taylor. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Damon Jones officiating. Burial will be in Ledbetter Cemetery in McCreary County, KY. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family request donations be made to the Diabetes Association or the Abbi Ledbetter College Fund. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
