Georgia Ruth Adams

Georgia "Ruth" Adams, 82, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born on July 5, 1934; daughter of the late Walter Thompson and Amanda Alexander Finch. She was a homemaker and attended Friendship Old Regular Baptist Church. She loved her family, flowers, and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Paul Adams whom she married on September 13, 1956; one son, Robert & (Angie) Adams of Woodstock, GA; two daughters, Donna & (Jim) Horton of Brentwood, TN, and Linda & (Danny) Blevins of Eubank; one sister, Elizabeth Chapman of Pass Christian, MS; six grandchildren, Joe Horton, Aaron & (Megan) Belcher, Carrie & (Steve) Camp, Amanda & (Hunter) Hurd, Heather & (Alex) Cole, and Shane Adams; eight great-grandchildren, Hayden & Kaylynn Belcher, Callie & Wyatt Camp, Easton & Reese Hurd, and Caleb & Judah Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Thompson; and two sisters, Netta Thompson, and Joyce Thompson. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Emory Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation for Ruth Adams will be after 6 PM Friday, November 25, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
