Lynndel Black, 74, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born in Goochtown, Kentucky on June 30, 1942, son of Dorothy Black Babel and the late Burl Adams. He was a tool and die repairman for Continental Metal and of the Church of Christ faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Jean Johnson Black, two daughters, Tina Combs and Anita Black, all of Eubank, his mother, Dorothy Black Babel of Ohio, two sisters, Beverly Brackett of Indiana and Sandy Brackett of Ohio, four grandchildren, Talana & (Aaron) Hughes, Siarra & (Rhubin) Spears, Bryanna Black and Alyssa Black and two great-grandchildren, Darrin Hughes and Emma Grace Spears.
He was preceded in death by one son, Darren Black, his father, Burl Adams and step father, Jack Babel.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Mike Measel officiating.
Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
