Elizabeth Ann Morris Purcell

Elizabeth Ann Morris Purcell, 70, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 7, 1946, daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine Council Morris. She was an executive secretary for the District 8 Kentucky Department of Highways and of the Methodist faith. She is survived by one son, Jerry Wayne & (Tina) Purcell, one daughter, Gina Purcell, both of Science Hill, one brother, John R. & (Gloria) Morris of Lexington, KY, three grandchildren, Benjamin Purcell, Chandler Purcell and Madilyn Purcell and two nieces, Jodi Morris Allen and Catie Morris Embry. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
