Marilyn Taylor Smith

Marilyn Taylor Smith, 77, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 3, 1939, daughter of the late Harold Jackson and Ruby Graham Taylor. She was a medical transcriptionist for Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Marla Smith Peters & (William David "Bill") of Science Hill and two grandchildren, Sergio Santiago Galan and Xavier Augustine Galan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Lee "Model T" Smith and her parents. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
