Beulah Jane (Haynes) Brantley, 60, of Princeton, Indiana, formerly of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at her residence after a term illness.
Ms. Beulah Jane Brantley was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 26, 1948, daughter of the late Tulla Tildon and Lina Elizabeth Phillips Haynes. She was a member of the O.E.S. for over 25 years. Beulah received her High School Diploma at Washington High School, Indianapolis, IN in 1966. She has resided in Indiana since she was the age of 6. Beulah was a loving, devoted and loyal daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and a friend to many who loved her and will miss her. In her spare time before she fell disabled and sick, she loved keeping up the family tree and making sure her family knew that she loved and cared for them. Her children paid this tribute to her, "Mother was one of the kindest mothers you could ever meet. She opened her heart and her home to many children, family members and friends over the years and she will be sorely missed.
She is survived by three children, Laura Ann Middleton of Princeton, IN, Melinda Jane Wyan of Parsons, KS and Douglas Eugene Silvers of Huntingburg, IN, six grandchildren, Calvin, Phillip, Jessica, Mary, Victoria and Thomas, two great-granddaughters, Shaunna and Brionna, one great-grandson, Harley and three sisters, Eva Francis Bishop of Cincinnati, OH, Irene Kate Whitis of Sidney, OH and Della Elizabeth Slater of Kokomo, IN
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, George Edward Haynes, Grover Haynes and Harold Gene Haynes, one sister, Helen Marie Haynes and three grandchildren, Matthew Perry, Samuel Perry and Maria Perry.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home.
