Bobby Gerald Dalton

Bobby Gerald Dalton, 67, of Norwood Drive in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 24, 1942, son of Lewis Dalton and the late Mary Irene Harmon Dalton. He was a retired Coal Miner for Patriot Coal Company and a member of Science Hill Christian Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a Mason. He is survived by his father, Lewis Dalton of Science Hill, one daughter, Mary Lina Schmidt of Harker Heights, TX, two brothers, Ronald L. & (Lois) Dalton and Garry L. Dalton, both of Science Hill, one sister, Gail & (Bill) Shepherd of Science Hill, four grandchildren, Samantha Mary Fraser, Sonja Nicole Schmidt, Amanda Nora Fraser and Dakota Corey Fraser and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, one daughter, Sonja Gisela Fraser, two brothers, James Arthur Dalton and Timothy Wayne Dalton and one sister, Wanda Rae Sweeney. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Science Hill Christian Church with Bro. Charles Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and after 11 AM Wednesday at Science Hill Christian Church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
