Lucille Eaton

Lucille Eaton, 86, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017.She was born on December 4, 1930 in Dabney, KY, daughter of the late Charles Wilson and Mary Martha Surber Doolin. Lucille accepted Christ as her savior at the age of 17. She was a member of the Rock Lick Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a past-president of the WMU. She was a homemaker and a farmer.She is survived by her son, Leemon Eaton, Jr., of Somerset, three granddaughters, Myra Lewis, Krystal Eaton and Elizabeth Eaton, several nieces and nephews.Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Leemon Eaton, Sr.,whom she married on May 5, 1951 and passed away on May 24, 2004, her parents, five brothers, William Neal, Manford Estill, Curtis Nelson, John Riley and Charles Wilford Doolin, three sisters, Martha Wilson Doolin, Lizzie Mae Adams and Vina Lee Ping.Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, with Bro. David Evans officiating.Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery.Visitation for Lucille Eaton will be after 11:00 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
