Charlie F. West

Charlie F. West, son of the late Cyrus and Sylvia White West, was born in Beech Grove, Kentucky on October 27, 1925 and departed this life on May 21, 2006 at the age of 80 years. He was a farmer and a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church. He is survived by five sons, Danny F. & (Hazel) West of Science Hill, Bobby & (Josephine) West of Nancy, Randy & (Rhonda) West of Russell Springs, Anthony & (Linda) West of Dayton, Ohio and Tom & (Sophia) West of Nancy, three daughters, Becky & (John) Parvin and Margaret & (Jim) Fulcher both of Nancy and Lisa & (Johnny) Wilson of McCreary County, two sisters, Elizabeth & (Charles) Brinegar of Science Hill and Polly Johnson of Somerset, two stepsons, Henry Thomas and Harold Galloway, two stepdaughters, Sophia West and Lula Ann Sullivan, a daughter-in-law, Virginia West of Science Hill, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and fourteen step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine Phelps West, his second wife, Josephine Teshion West, his parents, Cyrus and Sylvia West, a son, Charles Cooper West, two brothers, Howard West and John Marion West, a sister, Marenas Raines and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Hall and Bro. Ben Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Tuesday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
