Lilburn James "Lib" Dick

Lilburn James "Lib" Dick, 79, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born in King Bee, Kentucky on August 1, 1930, son of the late James Killis and Vada Dick. He was a farmer and enjoyed and loved farm life. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a joy to him. Lib and Violet had 60 years of marriage together. He accepted Christ on October 5, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Violet Lillian Baugh Dick, whom he married on July 8, 1949, six children, Diane & (Garry) Greer, of Eubank, Connie Daulton of Somerset, Terry & (Linda) Dick of London, Vickie & (David) Durham of Waynesburg, Carol & (Jim "Murph") Murphy of Somerset and Douglas & (Julie) Dick of Somerset, fourteen grandchildren, Scott Greer, Randy Greer, Julie Hillman, Ben Daulton, Andy Daulton, Josh Dick, Crystal Dick, Patrick Durham, Kelly Carrigan, Kevin Dick, Kendra Mounce, Tayler Dick, Katie Dick and Kristi Murphy, three great-grandchildren, Caroline Mounce, Hayley Roach and Kalob Roach and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lib loved his family and was so proud of all of his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lois Ann Dick Harmon and one brother, Roy W. Dick. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 26, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Noel Dodson and Bro. Barry Vaught officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to The Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
