Jack W. Holder

Jack W. Holder, son of the late Ernest and Zula Turpin Holder, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 21, 1926 and departed this life on May 29, 2006 at the age of 80 years. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis, Indiana and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Fultz and Ada Jean Sparks both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Cheryl Godsey of Franklin, Kentucky and Jackie Noe of Sheperdsville, Kentucky, two brothers, Huey Holder and Ernest Holder, Jr. both of Somerset, two sisters, Virginia Finkbiner of Indianapolis, Indiana and Joyce Prather of Manchester, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Cira Sparks, Ronnie Fultz and Krystle and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Pryor Holder, his second wife, Grace Holder, his parents and a sister, Nellie Culp. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Tanner Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Tapscott officiating. Burial will be in Tanner Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
