James Robert "Robbie" Proffit

James Robert "Robbie" Proffit, son of the late Robert and Irby E. Adams Proffit, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 14, 1941 and departed this life on May 31, 2006 at the age of 64 years. He loved airplanes, country music and juggling in talent contests. He was a fan of White Castle hamburgers and strawberry malts. He is survived by a brother, Jack & (Pamela) Adams of Xenia, Ohio, a sister, Sarah Jean Dakin & (Paul Sodders) of Xenia, Ohio, a special nephew, Dusty & (Brandy) Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Science Hill Cemetery with Rev. John Lockwood officiating. Burial in Science Hill Cemetery. Morris & Hislope in charge of local arrangements.
