Jennie Lynn Gossett

Jennie Lynn Mink Gossett, daughter of Donald and Elizabeth Girkey Mink, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 21, 1959 and departed this life on June 3, 2006 at the age of 47 years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Cariol Gossett of Burnside, whom she married on October 21, 1985, her parents, Donald Mink of Burnside and Elizabeth Mink of Somerset, two sons, Cyrus Gossett and Joshua Gossett both of Burnside, a daughter, Shenna & (Joseph) Peavie of Burnside, four brothers, Donald Mink of Tateville, Tony & (Trulane) Mink of Eubank, David & (Becky) Mink of Somerset and Paul Mink of Tateville, four sisters, Kimberly Bickers of Frankfort, Cheri & (Sam) Grigsby of Bronston and Elizabeth & (David) Yoden and Kathrina Mink both of Somerset, a granddaughter, Destiny "Sunshine" Gossett, whom she raised and three sisters-in-law, who were her caregivers during her illness, Ella Mae Norfleet, Roxie Barron and Shelia Noakes. She was preceded in death by four grandparents. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Monday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
