Delmar Wesley

Delmar Wesley, son of the late Elvin and Clara Godbey Wesley, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 29, 1928 and departed this life on June 16, 2006 at the age of 78 years. He was a retired steel worker and a member of Saline Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hines Todd Wesley of Somerset, a daughter, Margaret Lee of Cleveland, Ohio, a son, Michael & (Debbie) Wesley of Atlanta, Georgia, three stepsons, Larry Todd of Somerset, Carroll & (Vicki) Todd of Eubank, Doug & (Tammie) Todd of Science Hill, a sister, Audrey Morris of Somerset, a brother, Lowell & (Paula) Wesley of Somerset, three sisters-in-law, Connie Wesley of Cleveland, Ohio, Helen Rice of Culver, Indiana and Ruth Dick of Science Hill, two brothers-in-law, Everett & (Pauline) Dick of Somerset and John Hardin Dick of Oak Harbor, Ohio, four grandchildren, Abigail Lee and Shannon, Tyler and Tylie Wesley, five step-grandchildren, Sara, Cassie, Aaron, Gillia and Emily Todd, two step-great-grandchildren, Payton Todd and Tucker Vaught, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith Dick Wesley, his parents, two brothers, Earlin and Loyd Wesley, a sister, Mildred West, nine brothers-in-law, Howard and Marion West, Hobert Morris, Ralph and Roy Hines, Carl, Arl, Howard and Ottis Dick and two sisters-in-law, Ruth A. and Ruby Dick. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 19, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Noah Broughton officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Sunday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
