Brenda Barnes Brown

Brenda Barnes Brown, 50, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Ephraim-McDowell Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 10, 1959, daughter of the late John Leonard and Nellie Jane Barnes. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Brown, whom she married on April 3, 2005, one step son, Timothy Brown, three step daughters, Betty Brown, Rhonda Jolley and Bobbie Brown, all of Science Hill, one brother, John Barnes of Crawfordsville, IN, one sister, Beatrice Trot of Iowa, one nephew, Joe Barnes of IN, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Herbert William Barnes, Calvin Earl Barnes and Bobby Barnes and one sister, Quilla Ellen Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
