Mozelle Fowler

Mozelle Fowler, 89, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Ruth, Kentucky on July 3, 1920, daughter of the late Alford and Ethel Mounce Tomlinson. She was retired from Palm Beach as a seamstress and was the oldest member of Somerset First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by one sister, Cleadus & (Verl) Barber of Milford, OH, two sisters-in-law, Irene Tomlinson and Lois Ann Tomlison, both of Somerset and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Fowler, one son, Billy Darrell "Speedy" Fowler, one daughter, Shirlene Willene Fowler, three brothers, Carlon Tomlinson, Howard Tomlison and Clyde Tomlinson and two sisters, Ruby Meece and Noral Tomlinson. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Routt officiating. Burial will be in Clay Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Mozelle Fowler will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
