Ruby Estep

Ruby Estep, 93, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Putnam County, Indiana on November 21, 1916, daughter of the late James and Bertha Abbott Alexander. She was a homemaker and a member of Eden Baptist Church. She is survived by five sons, Bill & (Rose) Estep of Somerset, Gene & (Jackie) Estep of Albion, IN, Raymond & (Judy) Estep and Gary & (Julie) Estep, both of Crawfordsville, IN and Tommy & (Pat) Estep of Somerset, two daughters, Jenny & (Jim) Winstead of Science Hill and Roberta & (Jr.) Adams of Somerset, two sisters, Vernelle Gastineau of Eubank and Frances Abbott of Somerset, twenty three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Estep, who died on June 20, 1987, her parents, three sons, Bob Estep, James Lee Estep and Jack Estep and three brothers, Gilbert Alexander, Lloyd Alexander and Leon Alexander. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Stallsworth officiating. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Fuenral Home in charge of arrangements.
