Eva Dell Keeney Bumgardner

Eva Dell Keeney Bumgardner, 82, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Ruth, Kentucky on October 27, 1927, daughter of the late Ed and Eliza Meece Keeney. She retired after 44 years as a seamstress with Palm Beach. She is survived by two sons, Barry "Buck" & (Tammie) Bumgardner and Gary "Biz" & (Teresa) Bumgardner, both of Eubank, four daughters, Cheryl & (Phillip) Russell of Somerset, Linda & (Bill) Ward of Eubank, Lois Ann & (Marlon) Daws of Somerset and Sheila Sears of Science Hill, three brothers, Carroll Keeney, J. Howard Keeney and Danny Keeney, all of Somerset, five sisters, Faye Sanders of Hamilton, OH, Joyce Phelps of Somerset, Vera Jean Watson of Eubank, Janis Farmer and Janet Meece, both of Somerset, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Mason Bumgardner, who died on September 12, 2004, her parents, two brothers, Lyman Keeney and Wanda "Static" Keeney, son-in-law, James "Jim" Sears and one grandchild, Douglas Yeary. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gordon Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
