Josephine Wilson

Josephine Crawford Wilson, 99, Black Mountain, NC, formerly of Pulaski County, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2010 at the Mountain Ridge Wellness Center. She was born in Dabney, Pulaski County, KY on February 12, 1911, daughter of the late Robert Silas and Mary Melvina Barnett Crawford. She was of the Christian faith. She is survived by one son, Ronald & (Patsy) Wilson of Asheville, NC, two daughters, Joan & (Richard) White of Danville, CA and Cynthia & (Bernard) Showman of Greenville, SC, four grandchildren, Jennifer Davison, Joseph Concilla, Robin Lootens and Kell Wilson, eight great-grandchildren, Pierce & Robert Davison, Jacqueline, Mark & Caroline Concilla, Greyson & Wren Wilson and Alec Lootens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Wilson, who died in 1985, her parents, four brothers, Raymond, Frank, Oren & Layton Crawford, four sisters, Roxie Estes, Minnie Fitzgerald, Ella Burton & Kathryn Godby. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ritchie Smith officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. The family request donations to the Care Partners Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813 or the Science Hill Christian Church.
