Berchel Roberts

Berchel Roberts, son of the late Phil and Bertha Napier Roberts, was born in Grapevine, Kentucky on September 13, 1926 and departed this life on August 7, 2006 at the age of 79 years. He was a coal miner. He is survived by his children, Darrell Roberts of Eubank, Robert Lee & (Sandra) Roberts of Eubank, Kenneth Roberts of Eubank, Ernestine & (Kenneth) Fields of Eubank, Margaret & (Larry) Hamilton of Hazard, James Roberts of Eubank, Aileen Gilley of Florida, George & (Lisa) Roberts of Hazard, Mary & (David) Dick of Eubank, Burchell & (Michelle) Roberts, Jr. of Eubank and Priscilla & (Rodney) May of Eubank. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Lorene Stevens Roberts, his parents, two children, Jimmy Woodrow Roberts and Kathy Louise Merridith, three grandchildren, Jennifer, Shelly and Dober and two sisters, Alberta Miller and Reva Mae Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, August 10, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Enoch Wagers officiating. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Wednesday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
