Susie Elizabeth Hollars Watson, 81, of Norwood Road in Somerset, Kentucky was reborn into eternal life on Monday, March 15, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Parnell, Kentucky on November 6, 1928, daughter of the late R.Z. and Nova Edda Crabtree Hollars. She was a homemaker, a pastor's wife and attended Norwood Holiness Church. She is survived by her husband, Ellis E. Watson, whom she married on August 29, 1953, three sons, Wade D. & (Teresa) Watson of Trafalgar, IN, Terry G. & (Nancy) Watson of New Castle, IN and Randy D. & (Carol) Watson of Somerset, six grandchildren, Joshua T. & (Stephenie) Watson, Kara J. & (Brandon) Kirk, Anna J. & (Brock) Triplett, W. Kyle & (Brittany) Watson, Nathaniel L. Watson and Chestin D. Watson, two great-grandchildren, Erica L. Watson and Faith Elizabeth J. Triplett, brothers and sisters, Odie D. & (Gladys) Hollars of Monticello, Lilly F. Dane of New Castle, IN, Ralph E. & (Gladys) Hollars of Spiceland, IN and Opal M. & (Clay) Upchurch of New Castle, IN and sisters-in-law, Eva Hollars and Sue Hollars, both of New Castle, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, William Walter Hollars, Irene Sullivan and Raymond A. "Jack" Hollars and brothers-in-law, Floyd Dane and Ottis Sullivan. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Pastor Chris King officiating. Burial will be in Parnell Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:30 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Norwood Holiness Church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
