Talisa Rene' Hawks

Talisa Rene' Roberson Hawks, daughter of Winston L. and Carolyn Janice Wilson Roberson of Louisville, was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 25, 1967 and departed this life on August 17, 2006 at the age of 39 years. She was a resource mother at Barren River Health Department and a member of Greenwood United Baptist Church in Louisville. She is survived by her husband, Troy Hawks of Eubank, whom she married on July 25, 1987, her parents, a daughter, Sarah Moriah Hawks of Eubank, a brother, Winston L. "Robby" & (Melissa Shuck) Roberson of Louisville, a sister, Cheryl Roberts of Woodstock, father-in-law, H.G. Hawks and mother-in-law, Judy Hawks both of Brownsville, Kentucky, two sisters-in-law, Sharon & (John) Jenkins and Cindy & (Mark) Troutman both of Bowling Green and two grandmothers Ruby Wilson of Brownsville and Nellie Roberson of Eclectric, Alabama. Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday, August 21, at Greenwood United Baptist Church in Louisville and 10 AM Tuesday, August 22 at Otter Gap Church in Chalybeate, Kentucky with Bro. Freddie Bertress and Bro. Richard Minton officiating. Burial will be in Otter Gap Cemetery, Chalybeate. Visitation will be after 4 PM Saturday, August 19 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, after 2 PM Sunday, August 20 at Greenwood United Baptist Church in Louisville and after 5 PM Monday, August 21 at Patton Funeral Home in Brownsville. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
