Wilma D. Hodge

Wilma D. Hodge, 75, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Paint Cliff, Kentucky on August 8, 1934, daughter of the late Tea and Lona Slaven Meadows. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Robert Lee Hodge of Nancy, and Tommie Hodge of Somerset, one daughter, Lori & (Ronnie) Owens of Somerset, three brothers, Larry & (Janie) Meadows and Lonnie & (Linda) Meadows, both of Whitley City, Ernie Meadows of Chicago, IL, two half brothers, Enos & (Rose) Meadows of McCreary Co., Roscoe & (Debbie) Meadows of Indian Creek, KY, one half sister, Ina Mae Kennedy of McCreary Co., very special former daughter-in-law, Marquita Hodge of Somerset, five grandchildren, Deatra Jones, Waylon Owens, Candace Hodge, Nathan Hodge, and Jessica Hodge, and two great-grandchildren, William Jones and Riley Owens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Lee Hodge, who passed away on February 1, 2000, her parents, one son, Danny Lee Hodge, one brother, Edward Meadows, two sisters, Joyce Massengale and Ilene Arnold and one half brother, Junior Meadows. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, March 26, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Wells officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
