Silas Wayne Haggard, 44, Eubank, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1966 in Lexington, KY, son of Silas Lee Haggard and Shirley (Pittman) Yocum. He was a furniture salesman. He is survived by his parents, Silas Lee Haggard of Metcalf, IL and Shirley (Pittman) Yocum of Eubank, two sons, Christopher Wayne Haggard of Nicholasville, KY, Clinton Thomas & (Tracy) Daugherty of Lebanon, KY, a daughter, Angela Dawn & (John) Daugherty of Nicholasville, KY, two brothers, Thomas Lee Elliott of Metcalf, IL, Keith Alan & (Elaine) Haggard of Somerset, two sisters, Pamela Mae & (Patrick) Hardy of Stanford, KY, Peggy Sue & (Greg) Duvall of Waynesburg, KY and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Colby Wayne Haggard and a brother, Kenneth Edwin Haggard. A funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating. Burial in the Peavey Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
