Lucian Correll

Lucian Correll, son of the late Isiah and Margaret Morrow Correll, was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on September 7, 1924 and departed this life on August 26, 2006 at the age of 81 years. He was a retired printer for the Commonwealth Journal, a farmer and a member of Pulaski Baptist Church. He was also a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ines Alton Correll of Science Hill, three sons, Michael Ray & (Karen) Correll of Danville, Manuel Dee & (Alphie) Correll of Monticello and Jason Lee & (Cindy) Correll of Science Hill, two brothers, Lester Correll of Hazard and Boyd Correll of Gosport, Indiana, three sisters, Carolyn & (Wayne) Riddell of Miamisburg, Ohio, Murial & (Donald) Morrow of Somerset and Mary Frances Erp of Eubank, nine grandchildren, Shannon, Manuel Jr., Eddie, Karen, Mike, Ami, Tonya, Brandon and Dustin and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Oral Correll and four sisters, Cloma Keith, Beulah Stigall, Edith Mickley and Gladys Simes. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, August 28, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Don Jones and Bro. Gary New officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
