Larry Cassada

James "Larry" Cassada, 68 , Eubank, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born July 7, 1941 in New Castle, IN, son of the late Bradford and Elizabeth (Baugh) Cassada. He was an auto body repairman for Ace Auto for over 30 years and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Roberta ( Randall ) Cassada, a son, Wendell & (Kristi) Cassada of Eubank, two daughters, Lana Preston of Stanford, Teresa & (Greg) Hamm of Somerset, one brother, Steve Cassada of Somerset, three sisters, Pat Tilley of Science Hill, Sue Skidmore of Tateville, Jean Dick of Ohio, five grandchildren, Tyler Preston, Whitney Cassada, Austin Cassada, Eric Daulton, Marybeth Hamm and Hunter Hamm. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Paul, Terry and Robert Cassada and a half sister, Betty Flowers. A funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday, April 19, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38. Visitation will be after 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
