Ethel Hazel Burton

Ethel Hazel Burton, daughter of the late William Fredrick and Mary Liz Burton, was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 14, 1907 and departed this life on September 3, 2006 at the age of 99 years. She was a homemaker and of the Nazarene faith. She is survived by her children, Geri Crouch of Burgin, Kentucky, Kathleen Spencer of Lafayette, Indiana, Eardean & (J.T.) Dunn of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Fostine Keeney of Science Hill and Sonny & (Aileen) Burton of Nancy, twenty two grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Burton, whom she married on September 10, 1928 and who died on March 8, 1992, her parents, two sons, Othel and Otis Burton, a great-grandson, Jerad Burton, two brothers, Orville and Oscar Burton and two sisters, Mellie and Charitie Burton. A funeral service will held at 2 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2006 Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Morgan and Bro. Mitch Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Nancy. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
