Irene Wesley

Irene Wesley, 93, of Ezra Wesley Road in Science Hill, Kentucky, (Mintonville Community) passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Pulaski County on March 25, 1917, daughter of the late Rupert and Susie Jones Wesley She was a homemaker and a member of Mintonville United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Billy & (Jeannette) Wesley of Science Hill, two grandchildren, Russell Wayne & (Brenda) Wesley of Somerset and Richard & (Mary) Wesley of Walton, KY, two great-grandchildren, Richard Tyler Wesley of Walton, KY and Morgan Wesley of Somerset, five step great-grandchildren and four step great-great-grandchildren, one sister, JoAnn & (John) Vaught of Cincinnati, OH, sister-in-law, Pauline Wesley of Science Hill and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra "Duck" Wesley, whom she married on April 9, 1935 and who died on April 17, 1997, her parents, one brother, Ernest Faye Wesley and three sisters, Lena Wesley, Jewell Jasper and Rogene Mofield. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Allen officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
