Ernest Lee Roberts

Ernest Lee Roberts, son of the late Joseph and Eliza Wesley Roberts, was born on December 30, 1921 in Casey County, Kentucky and departed this life on September 9, 2006 at the age of 84 years. He was a former employee of American Greetings and Casey Stone Company. He is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Wesley and Judy Lawless both of Bethelridge, two sons, Jerry Roberts and Terry Roberts both of Liberty, two brothers, Parker Roberts of Eubank and Jonas Roberts of Richmond, three sisters, Eva Steele and Alphine McQueary, both of Ohio and Illa Wesley of Science Hill, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Godbey Roberts, his parents, two brothers, Roscoe and Sol Roberts, four sisters, Flonnie Roberts, Lula Pittman, Vannie Randolph and Artie Jasper and several half brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, September 11, 2006 at Bartle Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Merrick officiating. Burial will be in Spaw Cemetery.
