Lenard E. Howell

Lenard E. Howell, 74, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Russell County Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 7, 1935, son of the late Arthur and Dovie Denny Howell. He was a machine operator for U.S. Electrical Tool. He is survived by his wife, Ora Popplewell Howell of Russell Springs, two sons, Carlos & (Alice) Howell of Waynesburg and Darrell & (Debbie) McConnell of Crab Orchard, two daughters, Loretta & (Gary) Case of Amelia, OH and Rebecca Jewel of Crab Orchard, one brother, Billy & (Rosa) Howell of Waynesburg, two grandchildren, Steve Case and Elizabeth Case and two step grandchildren, Jeffrey York and Reva York. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Faye Belcher Howell, his parents, three brothers, Carlis Howell, Junior Howell and Lee Howell and one sister, Betty Fritts. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, May 24, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Burial will be in Jacob's Hill Cemetery in Waynesburg. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
