Mollie Beatrice Todd, daughter of the late Logan and Lula Denney Ping, was born in Willailla, Kentucky on April 24, 1913 and departed this life on September 25, 2006 at the age of 93 years.
She was a homemaker with a great love for sewing and quilting and a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Iva Dean & (Fred) Meek of Georgetown, three granddaughters, Tammy & (Kevin) Carr, Laura Meek and LeAnn & (Roger) Claiborne all of Georgetown, five great-grandchildren, Travis Ray, Matthew Meek, Logan Charles, Hollis Charles and Shauna Claiborne all of Georgetown and a sister, Sally Brown of Willailla, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Todd, whom she was married to for 64 years, her parents, a son, Connie Todd, two brothers, James and Ernest Ping and a sister, Berthena VanHook.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Willailla, Kentucky with Bro. Rick Reynolds and Bro. Bradley Goforth officiating.
Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Willailla.
Visitation will be after 12 noon Thursday at the church.
The family requests donations to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Hwy. 62 E., Cynthiana, KY or the Poplar Grove Cemetery Fund.
