Roy Roger Black

Roy Roger Black, 63, of Waynesburg, KY, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 5, 1947, son of the late Joe and Vada Purcell Black. He was an employee for Nicholasville Hospital Supplies and of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his wife, Martha Padgett Black of Dry Ridge, KY, one sister, Ruth Cash and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joe Lawrence Black and Robert Black. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Calvary Tabernacle Church with Bro. Joe Barrett officiating. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at the church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
