Ronald C. Chappell

Ronald C. Chappell, 65, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky on January 21, 1945, son of the late John and Alice Buchanan Chappell. He was a factory worker for Stearns & Fosters. He is survived by two sons, John Randy Chappell and Willie Allen Chappell, one daughter, Tina Faye Gaskins, all of Cincinnati, OH, three brothers, Bobbie Chappell of Lexington, KY, Johnny Chappell of Stanford, KY and Buddy Chappell of Barboursville, KY, three sisters, Mary Lou Sowders and Katherine Dishan, both of Stanford and Fern Godbey of Burnside and one grandchild, Bobbie Ellen Gaskins of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ruth Pruitt. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bert Hall officiating. Burial will be in Epheus Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincoln Co., Kentucky. Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
